Education today is not the privilege of the few, but on the contrary it is mandatory for people one and all. A leading catalyst for progress, Educate Texas, a public-private initiative of Communities Foundation of Texas, is an innovative alliance of public and private groups that share a common goal: strengthening the public education system so that every Texas student is prepared for success in school, in the workforce, and in life. The next cohort of Educate U.S. students will travel to Houston, Texas in January 2018.
Educate Texas supports the effective use of data, transparency of evaluation results, and shared access to research and best practices. The Content Marketing Matrix includes educate as one of the four main components of content marketing. Each SME that passes through the EDUCATE physical space and/or takes advantage of the resources available through the virtual space will also contribute evidence about their research use and generation that will provide further resources for EDUCATE. Educate Texas applies its public-private teamwork philosophy by supporting the creation of Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (T-STEM) Academies and Early College High Schools (ECHS) within the state.
