The master’s degree program in philosophy of education prepares students to teach in humanities and social studies programs in secondary schools and colleges. Mass culture that is meant to repress people and to facilitate ruling elite is being propagated through media and formal education. One’s philosophy will reflect one’s pedagogy, I believe, because it is almost like a guideline for teachers.
